SHIELD Regional Training will hold its 5th annual fundraising event at WinRiver Event Center on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 5:00 pm. The fundraiser willinclude dinner, raffles, auctions, music and more! SHIELD invites the NorthState community to join us for a fun evening in support of our firstresponders. Money raised supports SHIELD’s mission to develop and provide effective andsustainable public safety training to create safer communities. 

The Second annual Redding Walk For Freedom is scheduled forOctober 19th. This event is part of a global initiative, and we’ll be walking a4-mile route to raise awareness about sex trafficking. We will walk throughdowntown court to Eureka, where we plan to walk in single file, holding signsto highlight this pressing issue. We’ll then walk over the Sundial Bridgearound 11:00 to 12:00 PM.
